Our Carpet Cleaning Process in Warren, OH
Knowing that this time of year a lot of people want to get their carpets cleaned, its important for our customers to know exactly what to expect when we arrive at your home. So here's a look at our carpet cleaning process:
After meeting the customer, our carpet technicians will reaffirm to the customer what rooms are to be cleaned and what furniture needs to be moved. The customer should also directly point out any spots/stains on the carpet so that the technicians can pre-treat them. Our technicians will begin the process of moving furniture out of the way to begin cleaning. First, we will pre-spray all of the carpet. Pre-spraying uses a chemical that breaks down and dissolves soils in the carpet so that they can be more effectively removed by the extractor. Next comes the extraction, which involves our technicians using a carpet wand that is connected to a high powered truck mount cleaning machine. With our cleaning equipment, we can reach temperatures as high as 250 degrees for today’s synthetic fibers, and our wand injection ensures an even application of our cleaning solution. We use a dual pass method for deep cleaning and for removing the excess water from the carpet. Finally to finish it off our technicians will apply a deodorizer to your carpets to give them a fresh, new scent. The customer also has the option to have our team apply our Teflon™ stain-resistance spray application to their carpets for an additional price.
After the cleaning process is finished, our technicians will move all furniture back to its original place and then place foam blocks underneath the furniture to prevent a color transfer. It is important for the customer to know they should not at any time try to remove the foam blocks out from underneath the furniture as our technicians will remove the blocks themselves at a later time that day. Also know that air movers will be put in place in the rooms to help dry the carpets faster. Those too will be removed at a later time along with the foam blocks.
